This Cookie Policy explains how Axiom AI LLC (d/b/a Divorce Portal) ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser localStorage) when you visit and use our platform at divorce-portal.com.
We aim to be transparent about what we store in your browser and why. Divorce Portal uses minimal browser storage — we do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking. Your privacy is a priority.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners. "Similar technologies" include localStorage, sessionStorage, and other browser-based storage mechanisms.
We use both cookies (set by third-party services during checkout) and localStorage (for our own authentication and preferences).
When you log in, we store a JSON Web Token (JWT) in your browser's localStorage. This token keeps you signed in and authenticates your requests to our servers.
We store your cookie consent preference in localStorage so we don't show you the consent banner on every visit.
If you switch between light and dark mode, we store your preference locally.
If you arrive via an NGO referral link, we store the referral code locally to apply your scholarship discount during registration.
When you go through the Stripe checkout process to purchase a plan, Stripe may set cookies in your browser. These cookies are necessary for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
We use Sentry for error monitoring. Sentry may set minimal cookies or use localStorage for session replay and error correlation.
Divorce Portal does not use:
If we add analytics or other tracking in the future, we will update this policy, notify you, and obtain your consent before activation.

Please note that clearing your JWT token from localStorage will log you out of Divorce Portal. You can log back in at any time.
When you first visit Divorce Portal, we display a cookie consent banner. By clicking "Accept" or continuing to use the site, you consent to our use of essential storage as described in this policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser storage and ceasing to use the platform. Essential storage (JWT token) is required for the platform to function — if you do not consent to essential storage, you will not be able to use Divorce Portal.
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new cookies, change how we use browser storage, or integrate new third-party services. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on our platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of Divorce Portal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
